Section One: Astronaut Experiences
Tour Air and Space Museums with Tom Jones and Rick Hauck

This two part tour features two astronauts and two Air and Space museums — it is practically two experiences rolled into one great auction lot!

The winning bidder will first meet spacewalker Tom Jones, who will lead a 2-hour tour of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Here you will see the Space Shuttle Enterprise, as well as other historic spacecraft and aircraft. Your time with Tom Jones will include chatting over coffee about his astronaut career, his new book Sky Walking and his concepts for the future.

On a separate day, you will also meet shuttle commander Rick Hauck, who will lead you through the National Air and Space Museum's flagship building on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Exhibits here include Apollo 11 command module Columbia and the original Wright Flyer.

At both locations, you will be surrounded by space history while in the company of men that made it in part possible.

Transportation and accommodations are not included. The actual dates of these tours, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by Dr. Jones' and Capt. Hauck's schedule but will not occur before Nov. 1, 2006. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this event may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check.
