 0590. Flown Cover Carried to the Moon
This crew-signed cover is notated in Col. Aldrin's hand "Carried to the Moon on Apollo 11". The cover has the requisite "Delayed in Quarantine at Lunar Receiving Laboratory M.S.C. - Houston, Texas" black handstamp in the center below the Webster, TX, Aug. 11, 1969 cds. There is a multicolor NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club cachet at left. Enclosed is a 1991 letter of authenticity from Superior as well as a 1992 photo certificate of authenticity from Dienna in Italy. Extremely rare.
