0984. Lunar Rover TV Camera Remote Lens Assembly
Built for the remotely operated TV camera mounted on the front of the Lunar Rover Vehicles that were used during the Apollo 15, 16 & 17 missions. None of the flown units were returned to earth. This rare, functionally complete lens assembly has three focusing levers at top and is marked TV Remote lens, part 2RD2960G01, serial number 3005. It is complete with NASA tags and markings in addition to a piece of white Velcro attached on one side. A fascinating unit that is a must-buy for every space camera collector. This is the first unit of its type we have seen.
